magsy
Hi can anyone tell me if theres a knack to refitting the airbox on this bike. Its only as I've had to remove the carb several times recently that its become a real pain. There must be an easier way than grappling for ten minutes with a screw driver. In the end I removed the fuel tank which gave me much more room. I know manufacturers are looking for new ways to improve there products but this to me is a part that needs to be removed often and so should be much simpler to fit. Any thoughts most welcome. deanogasgas
I struggled at first with my 2012st...slightly loosen the jubilee clip on the inlet side of the carb and slot the right hand side of the air box in first and be patient. then tighten both clips up. It is a bit of a chew.
slickgolf_0
Fit the carb to the airbox first then pop the carb back in ,

ikb
Just be glad you do not have a 250 with dellorto and the rubber reducer ring. Ant idea which way the rubber reducing ring should go? I guess the alignment mark at the top facing away from the carb!
