guys
Elf HTX 740 is what Montesa recommends, Putoline light gear oil and GRO gear Extreme 75W are similar oils and I've used the GRO in my previous 4RT with good results. Someone recommended Castrol Power RS 5W40 which should make the clutch a bit smoother. I plan to try that in the future in my 2015 4RT.
hannu
I've used this on my last two changes, seems to work ok and cheap enough to change quite often ! http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-801-silkolene-light-gear-oil-for-competition-and-road-motorcycles.aspx
darrensn
Elf HTX 740 is the best I've used !! http://www.bvm-moto.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1221

shyted
I've tried them all,and for the money verses results GRO is the best ,then Putoline nano ,then 740 HTX then PJ1 Prices range from twelve per liter to getting on thirty. If the bikes brand new to you it probably recommends HTX in the manual you should have.Tried all these oils and more on my then new 2014 bike. Having said that i'm not an oil expert ,it's just what i've experimented with. Edited January 22, 2015 by shyted
