fitz_the_viking
Hi. finally getting everything sorted for my first trial. I am not a member of the earl shilton club but due to shifts its looking like it could be my first. First for a lot of things, first trial, first time riding a bike off road. Cant find much info on the event other than its the jack frost trial but does anyone know if its suitable for a newbie? cheers everyone. time to get my new boots dirty. ourian
Hi Fitz, I take it you have an ACU licence sorted, if so get yourself down there on the 8th Feb, aim to arrive 9 - 9.30, go have a look at the sections first, if you feel confident fill out an entry form (white route) and have a go, if not then stick around, grab a cuppa and a burger, have a wonder round, watch what goes on, have a chat and think about spending £50 on a practice membership, it'll help boost your confidence. Hopefully I'll be there TY175 red brake & clutch levers, blue helmet, stop and say Hi

Do i need to fill the application form out and hand it in on the day or do i need to send it to someone in advance. Thanks for putting up with these complete newb questions, i never done or been involved in any sort of motorsport, only spectated. I have the form from the site am probably missing something obvious as usual. if it doesnt work out i'll still turn up. am not hard to miss 6"6 tall with blonde dreadlocks
ourian
When you say application form, do you mean the trials entry form? If so just take it with you and hand it in on the day.
hanks
Hi Fitz, If you licence hasn't arrived by middle of next week, call Acu licence department and they will sent you licence conformation email so you have number and proof of licence. Save you filling another form in. They are clamping down on licences at the moment. Everything else, entry form etc, you can fill in on the day. I'll keep an eye out for you on the 8th.
