dadof2
Was the italjet frame and forks that similar to a bulto? Edited February 5, 2015 by dadof2
breagh
Having destroyed a couple back in the day I would say yes. Started in gear and kickstart on the right side were a bonus (All 6 speed) TY Mono made them obsolete almost overnight.

breagh
Aye right enough Nigel I would have though Dadof would have a textbook knowledge of these? 80s Trials Bikes chapter one would cover it. Phillip Berlatier could make them go,Peter Cartwright and Gerald Richardson did quite well on them too if I remember correctly.
nigel dabster
Remember Cartwright on one he was pretty good with it.
steve_earle
Just read the classes in the link. That's me out as I've got 38mm forks, I'm a bit gutted as I've just sold the old 35mm's. The ironic thing is the 35mm marzocchi forks and yokes are heavier by a few grams than the 38mm paioli forks and yokes. I only realized when I put them on the scales to get the postage price. Nevermind. Looks like a good series though, It will keep the 10 grand TLR's away with their aluminium forks!!!!
steve_earle
Just in case that post seems like a moan It seriously isn't. I'm just saying we should all check before building or modifying a bike.
