Picked up a SY250 (Yamaha Engine model) recently, would like so help trying to work out it's model year. It has a blue frame & tank etc. Exhaust sounds quite noisy, suspect baffles have gone in the rear silencer. Is it possible to get a replacement or non standard rear silencer. breagh Posted February 9, 2015 Report Share Posted February 9, 2015 Hi laud,easy blue frames the 04 model,only one with that colour frame. Never seen a pattern rear silencer,imagine original will be pricey,could be wrong. Bit of a chore.suggest cutting open repacking/repair and get welded? Centre box prone to cracking too so check,don't run well with any leaks. No bad old bikes though. Birkett Motorsport's the Scorpa Importer/Spares supplier.
