matador107
I know this site overall is focused on trials and obviously Bultaco in this section, but do any of you blokes own any other Bullies. To tell my tragic tale, a Matador mk5, a El Montadero Mk 2-- both fully restored, a Metralla M23 which I have kept original, along with an El Bandido 360 model 18, ready to race which I don't( too old). Also a couple of rolling wrecks, Alpina and Mk5 Matador. Pretty sad tale isn't it!!!

johnjsy
Hi millerme,& welcome.I had a M10 from new when they were first available & like many others wish I still had it.As for feet up fun,not at all sad. You & many others are keeping the spirit of Don Paco alive, which is to me very important. Do I qualify? Er:Yes,I hope so. I have a 159 motor in very good order, but no cylinder or head. I keep looking but none ever seem to come up for sale. Meanwhile,I have 5 others to keep me busy, all are registered & get used. They are 2 Alpinas 1971 &1974 - Lobito 175 from 1971- A Metralla 1967-& a much modified 1974 Pursang with a hybrid M92 & M99 326 cc motor fitted at present. In recent years I have twice visited Ivan Cirre & Romero Motos in Barcelona & seeing what they are doing is really encouraging. Don Paco, your legacy is in good hands. Siempre Pulgar Arriba-Thumbs up Forever. John, jsy.
guys
If you're looking for parts, maybe try Gilles Escuyer, he understand English. I've been at his and his dad's place and they've got quite a bit lying around. http://trial-classic-bultaco.fr/index.html

twinnshock
9 hours ago, Anthony Carter said: Hi I have bultaco sherpa t350 to change the the crankshaft seal do i need to strip engine right down. Thanks No. The seals are in seal holders that can be removed without a full engine strip and the engine still in the frame if preferred. You obviously have to remove the ignition flywheel on one side and the clutch/flywheel on the other to get at the holders so not a 5 minute job but should not take many hours but will require the right tools. I notice you are from Slough so a certain UK parts supplier is quite local to you. Give them a ring, what they do not know about Bultaco's is not worth knowing and will quite happily talk you through this and supply flywheel extractor and clutch holding tools that will make the job easy. In answer to another question in this thread. I own 3 Sherpa's which are a Model 10, a Model 80 and a Model 199. In my opinion the top 3 Sherpa models. Some might say a 199A tops the 199 but we can argue that all day long. I also have a model 188 Alpina and a Model 215 Frontera so have most off road bases covered. (I sold my M120 Pursang a few years back.) I would like to add a Metralla to the stable but these are quite rare in the UK and usually priced at more than I want to pay.
