nigel dabster
Credit where its due, for whatever reason Raga has won the WTC fair and square and seems to be set nicely for a few years yet. Next year will be good as the youngsters are hot on his heels.
andyrothers
Guess it would be this year or probably never for him. Good to get another name on the trophy. Shame the FIM have messed all the 4 stroke 'compliant' factories about tho. Still, all makes for more column inches and lots of discussion.... cota kid
2005 had to be Raga's year as he had the massive advantage of riding a bike he was totally at home on. But I can't help but wonder, 'what if the rumours were true and Raga had defected to the 4RT. Now that would have been the ultimate trials contest. However Raga is due credit for his double victory after all he did was what he needed to do and he did that very affectively. I think one of the big surprises of this years WTC is how well Doug, Fujigas and more lately Friexa have performed on bike they had little experience on. There is something about the 4RT that makes it a likeable bike to watch in action and I think the exhaust note has a lot to do with it. I need to give one a good run out as I could be a convert in the not to distant future. Edited September 7, 2005 by Cota Kid
