laird387
Hi, Would you like to understand a little more about where trials came from - and what it's all about - really? Then you need to have a look at ORRe - the digital magazine available exclusively on this website. The Scottish Six Days, for example. 'Lochaber Rich Mixture' - the 'Green Book' as many know it, is occasionally available on eBay at around the £100 mark - why pay that when the book, with additional photos included and updated information throughout has already been published in serial form in ORRe - and if you look at a copy on a laptop or desktop you can see most of the images at full page size in glorious detail - what is more it only costs a maximum of £12 and for that you already get ALL the back issues - yes that is over 800 pages and not a single one wasted on advertising - it is all pure information and glorious images. And it is not just the SSDT, the full story of the Scott Trial is included, and the history of the International Six Days, plus, plus, plus. And what is in store? Well in issue 17 we have a careful look at the 1964 Scottish - which must be the definitive pre-65 trial (and since I coined the description pre-65 originally I reckon I ought to know.......) There are fifty or so photographs clearly showing the state of play of the machinery AS IT WAS AT THE TIME - now where else can YOU see that sort of detail for yourself???? Here is a sample, it shows Mick Andrews with his works AJS (oh, yes, by the way, we have already analysed the full story of the AJS and Matchless Competition machines in ORRe - and other makes are on the way) Mick took runner-up spot in 1964 - but get YOUR copy of ORRe and find out..........
