Are you sure it gives the quantity by weight? Measuring oil in grams just doesn't seem right

Anyway density of oil is somewhere between 850kg/m3 to 900kg/m3

500g at 900kg/m3 1litre would weight 900g so 500g would be 555ml

(edit) Density of ATF oil is approx 865kg/m3 this would equate to 500g being 578ml

If you google the density of the oil you're using and measure the temperature of the oil, just to make it more confusing, oil's density changes with temperature, which is why they've probably specified the amount of oil by weight, i.e. it's volume will change with temp but it's mass will stay the same.

But I agree 550mls seems about right at 20 degrees celsius :huh:
