stelio10gr
I am a 140 pounds guy and I was wandering if an 125 trials bike would be enough for me to learn the basics
tony27
125 will be fine to learn on, not having the power of a big bike makes you learn proper technique quicker

hrmad
For an adult a 125, 200 or 250 would be fine. They just require different riding styles, 125s feel light, you really have to rev them to get the best out of them- their only problem is that they lack torque. I've got a 200, best of both worlds, has a nice amount of torque but still feels light, plus it's still fun rather than scary to give it a full throttle blast now and again. 250s are easier to ride in some respects, having ridden my friends 250 beta you don't have to use as much throttle or body English as you have to on a smaller bike. But it can catch you out! And of course all the makes and different years ride differently. For example a Mont 315 is a totally different bike to ride to a txt 250, despite being the same capacity. All this is just personal opinion of course, I'm sure you'll get different answers Have you got any other off road experience? neils on wheels
A 125 will be fine. Look not just at what the top Youth riders are doing on 125s, but also I think the Normandale Over 50 championship was won a 125 Beta last year,
