trialtrial
I just busted the plastic idle screw on my pwk28. Any suggestions for removal?
taffe
HI T T, try heating up the right size flat blade screwdriver and melt a slot in the end, might work?. Take the required precautions re heat in the fuel area tho. Cheers Taff
trialtrial
Thanks taffy. I gave the idea a go, and was moderately successful, but the slot kept on breaking. Then I did a silly thing and tried to drill it out. Long story short - heli-coil insert to the rescue. taffe
Hmmm, I should have realised that if the screw was stuck firm enough to break in the first place then the slot would also break, glad you got it solved tho. Cheers Taff
