markg
I have gear oil coming out of the waterpump inspection hole so guessing the seal is leaking on gearbox side of pump shaft. Bike has about 1 hour of use...... Anyone had this happen before? Anything I should look out for or check when replacing the seal? Thanks Mark G
canada280i
are you far away from the dealer? if not I would be taking it straight there after only 1 hour
guys
This is clearly a warranty issue.
markg
Unfortunately about 12 hours drive away. The new parts are in the mail so have to pull the new bike to bits and to see why it's leaking and hope it's just a faulty seal or faulty installation. aussiechris
You might need to consider posting your primary cover (containing the water pump) down to the dealer so he can replace the seals. It looks like you need to use a blind-bearing puller to remove the bearing to get at the seal. Then he could post it back along with the gaskets for you to re-install. Chris.
