spb
On Saturday 25th April, Stratford MCC will be running a trials for beginners/newcomers, with a practise session in the morning. This will be at Saintbury Quarry, near Dormy House Hotel/Broadway Golf Course, North Cotswolds. This will be for anybody who has little or no experience of trials riding. Riders will be expected to come in the morning to practise the actual sections they will be riding in the afternoon trial. We plan to have only five sections, each with a different focus (eg rocks, steps, cambers, tight turns, climbs). There will be easy and slightly harder routes to each section. The day will go as follows: Arrival 10am sign-on for 10.30 start of practise session. (£10 entry fee for the day) There will be coffee and biscuits to start with introduction and questions. The riders will be split into groups and will have a 20 to 30 minute time on each section, then move on to the next. 1.00 – 1.30ish BYO lunch (or possible fish & chip run if wanted) 2.00 (approx) – Trial begins Winners will be announced at the end If riders are not a member of any club or do not have ACU membership, they can do that on the day (will need to have some money with them) Due to limited parking etc we need to keep an eye on numbers, so please reply if you are planning to come. sp1
Hi, I'm interested in this, how much would the acu membership or day pass cost please? Thanks, Phil
spb
Hi Phil The ACU membership is £10. You can sign on on the day and this will give you the year's membership. There is also a charge of £10 for the trial. Hope that helps - look forward to seeing you. Steve
