trailie
I started making a chainguard today for the M80. Got a sheet of 1.5mm aluminium about 18" square from a mate for free and made a folder from bits that where lying round the shed. Managed to put a nice curve on the top of it. Next it needs cut out and filed up. Maybe tomorrow.
lbhbul
Very nice, good use of material on hand and ingenuity on your part!!! I on the other hand went all round the pump looking for the handle because I didn't find the proper length connecter bolt, must have too much time on my hands, Had I have had the bike in hand (its in Ill.) I would have went my old way. Have a good day. Larry
lorenzo
Bondy - ref. the pic. in post #55 - is that a new cylinder liner ? .......Copper head gaskets no longer made, eh ? I'm glad I bought some when they were still available (and possibly less expensive). I think the last time I saw any for sale they were about £20+ each, although Bultaco UK offers an aluminium version at £15.99. Done no actual work to the bikes beyond sorting out what needs to be done, and in what order - organising parts, etc. You know, all the boring stuff.......

bondy
Hello Guys i have a pair off 198B forks am using on my next build. does any 1 know if the 199A damper will fit?
bullylover
Hi Bondy. The 199 A damper rods should be the same as the 198 B ones. I am using Italjet damper rods in my 151 (I think) forks which are on my 199 B. The standard ones used to top out like crazy and using Italjet ones stopped that.
bondy
if you look on the photo the dampers the the ite plastic sleeve on 1 off the dampers is the dampers that came out the 198B i only have 1 plastic sleeve the other was broke the Alloy sleeve do not fit the 198B dampers and i noticed the 198B dampers are shorter than the 199A but ill give it it a go when i get my fork legs back from the engineers they have been milled out to take modern seals then i will paint.
