Pre-65 Scottish

Hi,

'Tis nearly time to gather again in Kinlochleven and find out whether all your pre-season training as well as the bike preparation has worked............

One snippet of news - if you, or someone you know, has ridden in the Pre-65 Scottish in the last thirty years - and definitely in the last ten years - then there is a very great likelihood that there is already a photograph of you in action - or about to be in the next few issues - of the digital magazine, OFF ROAD REVUe, available exclusively from this website - 'cos we are covering the thirty years of the event in far greater detail than has ever been published before, in serialised form over the issues.   And don't forget when you join 'ORRe', you already get the full 'Lochaber Rich Mixture', Ed Stott book in serialised and updated form as well as the story of the Scott Trial in serialised form, because when you join you immediately get access to ALL the back issues, at no extra charge...........

What is more the photographs are all captioned - not just a bare catalogue of images - and there are supporting details of many of the well-known riders that have ridden in Scotland over the years, plus the bonus of features on some of the machinery in use - like the full story of the development of the Royal Enfield Crusader that forms the basis of some excellent 'Trifield' hybrids, etc., etc.

And just as an appetiser I have included a photograph of my very old friend, Peter Gaunt, with his 250 Crusader riding in the 2006 Pre-65 Scottish, photographed by Jack Knoops.
