anotherfive
I always seem to be filling up before my mates do. Did 2 hrs practice the other night and ran to empty. Does that sound a lot to other 300 riders? I am a tight Yorkshireman though !!!
faussy
2 hours of solid riding, no. 2 hours consisting of 45 minutes riding then yes.
crazybond700
Normally I will max use 1 tank. We are low on space, so no long paths. Also depends on wheater and riding style. You could check the jets, but if it runs great, you can also not care
baldilocks
Check float level keihins can spill a lot of fuel
dadof2
Check plug colour and float level. Hard cotinual riding will empty a GG (and many other makes) tank in under 90 minutes, Gentle riding plus section inspection can get 3 hours from same amount of fuel. anotherfive
Thanks for the replies. It was practice in a small area but two solid hours with some high revving. Sounds acceptable from what you're all saying.I'll nip to the bank !!!
steve_earle
The 300 Gasser is a tad thirsty even compared to a highly strung 300 sherco. Dellorto or Keihin carb, They still drink!
