fantic 237
Hi I'm rebuilding a FM237 engine and I'm having trouble with getting enough of the output shaft through the left hand bearing to allow the washer and circlip to fit on. Would anybody have a diagram? I'm tempted to remove the gear cluster but can't see anything wrong. Could something be stopping the cluster moving over? I know this sounds self explanitory but wonder if someone has come across this before? Cheers Michael
furse
Look at the engine diagram on frankfield fantic, it's practically the same as a 240 set up
furse
You may well have a gear in the wrong place
fantic 237
I have just had to walk away and leave it! I will take it apart tomorrow night and have a look, the crank is fine but the gearbox nips up when the case is tightend. Something is not right but I cant see it at the minute. Something so simple!!!!! Thank you for the advice with the website.
