bigmike1961
Bought this last week. Suspension linkages at the rear are very loose, no bearing in the top of the steering head & the front wheel is badly buckled, oh and the engine doesn't run either. pschrauber
Looks OK, at least the rear fender isn't missing, as it happens very seldom that used ones are for sale and this is not available as NOS. In general look up for used parts, like engine, ... as there are only very few parts still available.
bigmike1961
Original plan was to use the forks, wheels, brakes, bars etc for a little twin shock project that's on the back burner at the moment.

huski
Fair enough its your money, but the twin shock project won't ride as well as the tr34 and be worth the best part of not much, while an original example of a bike that was one of the best of its time disappears
bigmike1961
I'll investigate the TR34 more carefully. The XL 250 engine could be sold on... Forks - what weight oil and how much? Do you measure a volume or distance down from the top of the fork tube with/without springs inserted.
