glynn
Hi, I bought a Gas Gas TXT Pro 125 (2003) about 6 months ago, the previous owner claimed to of changed the fork seals before the sale and said that they always leak, I think he may off put the wrong oil in as it seems very thin. Before changing the seals I would like to replace the oil and see if it stops, what is a good oil to use and how much do they hold? Cheers Glynn
bilks
Check this Video out. but i've always used 5 weight when i had the pro model in my forks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP-v_c0g0mw plus you could try one these, or even make one because it could be just dirt trapped in your seals. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fork-Seal-Leak-Cleaner-Seal-Mate-RM-RMZ-CR-CRF-KXF-YZ-YZF-Fix-Leaking-Forks-/321740731002?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4ae93df27a Edited May 7, 2015 by bilks
taffe
Hi Glynn, if he said the seals always leak I'd be looking for a small scratch or scuff marks on the fork slider....maybe?. Cheers Taff
