funkmasterflx73
Hello all, Well I've just bought myself my first trial bike and hopefully i haven't thrown myself into the deep end . I've got the bike, helmet, boots, gloves but yet to buy some spandex I've been riding both on road and off road for some time but haven't thought about giving trial riding a go until now so hopefully i haven't left it to late. I've watched quite a few events this year already and thought yes i should have done this years ago. I've joined my local club but still not done any events yet so hopefully will do some very soon. Cheers Brett
sirdabalot
Good move. I left it a bit late starting after trying the other bike disciplines. I think I lost the need to speed. Now after 14 years of it, I still look forward to my Sunday jaunt. Anyway there's a trial on at Ridsdale, Northumberland this Sunday, so what you waiting for, get amongst it. funkmasterflx73
Thanks yeah. i missed this one with a broken collar bone . Did my first one at Weardale the weekend just gone and that was really hard probably could of done with another couple of weeks off the bike to heal. I enjoyed it but was very tough hoping to do another local trial very soon Cheers
colin008
Yes Brett i agree, the Weardale trial last weekend was a trick one with not much rest between sections. This Sunday's the trial at Dursand Quarry is a cracking one.
