I have friends who moved up a class upon purchase (and practice). I wasn't as fortunate. How will the 300 compare to the last years Montesa 2 strokes? dan williams Posted May 26, 2015 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 Friend has a 2014 300 Factory. Sweet bike. I thought it would be all kinds of unridable but it is about the smoothest and most forgiving engine I've tried yet. The chassis feels about 10lbs lighter than my 2013 300. If it doesn't break the bank go for it. Especially since with the GasGas troubles he may not have it long. Beta's are getting in short supply. Current ride is 300 Beta Evo 4T, stroker as well. Love the bike, just getting tired of the repair on the motor, valves and carb issues.
