Unidentified Alien Spotted During Trial

WARNING.

 

Several competitors have reported that, during a recent trial in the far northern extremities of civilisation - well north of Ripon, at least - a strange alien object was spotted semi-crouching in the middle of the River Cover (Prohibited Drinking Water - don't you know).  It was holding a sort of periscope over what onlookers took to be its head, holding either some complicated optical device or maybe even a gun (it did say Canon on it - but there was no obvious muzzle for the bullets to come out).

 

Some believe we should be sympathetic as it may well have suffered an over-heated bum during entry into our atmosphere - but you never know, if it is from another planet it might have come to eat us all up - and all we want to do is ride our trials bikes - simple answer is, give it a wide berth.  And watch that Guy Kendrew - apparently he helped it.............

"I don’t pay the alien to go skinny dipping when he should be taking his soft focus pictures with his Kodak Brownie. Also note-only pro snappers can use soft focus cameras correctly. Also, was he shaking the water out of that Cannon. Kendrew, who is now under suspicion for having the ability to converse with aliens in their own language, should have spotted that liquid."

The alien's were out in force at the Blue Bar, up from the south where rocks are rare and sandy, tree rooted climbs abound. At least this alien did not have to attend A & E, not this time anyway, like some who are known to crawl around in the rocky fields, with cut knees. I think that someone put conditioner in the River Cover to make those rocks so slippy.
