bbk Posted May 30, 2015 Report Share Posted May 30, 2015 Looking at purchasing a 300cc kit for 2006 . I rode a 2015 that was converted and was impressed with the power. guys Posted May 30, 2015 Report Share Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) A larger radiator might be a good idea, if you're gonna use the power of the 300 and maybe a larger exhaust manifold, for instance a 27mm one. sportsawyer Posted May 31, 2015 Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 As I recall, the 300cc kits require case boring... I might be wrong. The 280cc kits don't need case modifications, so it's a simple cylinder / piston swap. In addition to guys' comments on cooling and exhaust, you'll want to get a programmable TB/ECU (if you don't already have one) to adjust fueling for the larger displacement.
