laird387 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Share Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) The Ripon Motor Club staged a two day social and practice weekend at theexcellent Havarah Park Estate on the outskirts of Harrogate last Saturdayand Sunday. Twenty four youngsters enjoyed two days of very varied trialspractice and guidance with a barbeque thrown in during Saturday evening,courtesy of Peter Fleetham who acted as chief barbeque driver.The youngsterswere divided into age and skill groups. The Ripon officials commented onskills, and errors, quietly. In other words - no pressure at all, justencouragement. Helen and Adam Blacker sorted out the entries and age andskill divisions with assisted from senior Ripon club members.Children list:Oliver Richardson, Max Townson,James Leeming, Guy Stones, Richard Pulman,Callum Fowler, Harry Mugridge, Richard Moorhouse, Jack Vasey, SamCharlton,Serle Blacker, Imogen and Elliott Laws, Monte and Conrad Andrews,Callum Brown, Ben Gregory,Joe Middlemiss, Oliver Pierson, FinnLawson-Bradley, Max and Bradley Green,William Blythe.Instructors were :-Adam Blacker, Nigel Simpson, Paul Mugridge, RossMoorhouse, Aldis Blacker, Stuart Blythe, Andy Townson.
