trialsrfun
Has anyone a picture of a completed Otter framed Cub or has had a ride on one.
trialsrfun
Have a look on the Faber frames website and there is a part built Cub/Otter pictured, I believe there is someone in Cornwall who rides a Cub/Otter but have no more info than that. I am getting together the parts to build a trials Cub so am interested in this bike as the Otter frames are good and light but will they be too big for a cub engine. dirtrider
I rode in the pre 65 inter centre team trial on Sunday and there was a rider on an Otter framed Cub. Unfortunately I can't remember his name or where he is from. Looked a nice bike though.
29r
Doing a little research ... Roy Bacon's Illustrated Triumph Buyers guide has a picture of a ' Cheetah ' framed Cub ( 1969 ) and mentions that were other firms that made similar models , so it might not be suprising ( rare though )to find an original Otter . Looking at Don Morley's Classic British Trials Bikes , it shows a C15 with a frame conversion built by Scott Ellis ( BSA factory rider ? ) circa 1966 . Quoting ; " It is available today in replica form as the Otter conversion ". hmmm.. Wonder if this would establish precedent for qualification for Pre-65 ?
