biffco
I haven't attempted to remove it yet, but my kick-start is loose, ie. It doesn't stay in the folded position to keep it out of the way during riding. Is there a warn part I can replace / build back up with weld? Or is it a case of throw it away and completely replace? old trials fanatic
You will have to take it apart but there is a ball bearing and a spring behind it that may have got gummed up or broken. A lot of people just hook it behind the cylinder head fin or use a elastic band make out of an old inner tube to retain it but i would strip it first and renew replace the ball and spring.
biffco
That's just what I wanted to here, thank you. I'll strip it down this week and have a look I currently have a piece of fuel pipe wedged in a fin that stops the lever from moving Edited June 20, 2015 by biffco
