sean65
Don't seem to be able to get 5w 30 anywhere. I have some 10w 40 at home, so it's either that or the ATF. At least the brake fluid was straight forward. lol
crazybond700
I have good results with 10w40, atleast no real problems (in several pre-pro models). But thinner could prefent sticking problems e.g. better. If you do get problems you can just swap again, its not damaging the clutch or something. sean65
I think that's the plan. Empty out the ATF which may be old anyway, then try the 10w 40 which I have some of anyway. Well at least until I can find the 5w 30.
sean65
Well a local rider came over and declared my bike to be a good example, with only a few minor check to do. The chain needs tightening a little and I just need to check the coolant level. I assume this is just a case of lifting the fuel tank. I may drain at some point. Otherwise he says it rides well and doesn't;t appear to have had a hard life, which is good to know.
