imexian
Hi, can any Ossa experts shed some light on an easy way to remove rear wheel? i've done it but its a right pain. If you had to do it in the field it would be a right aggro!! Is there a mod or technique to use? By the way got it starting ace now with 12v li ion rechargeable battery now with switch on bars, result!! Ian
canada280i
Back and up. You pull back to get the calliper off the pin and at the same time rotate upwards
imexian
If I do that the brake hose is stretched to the max!!!! As there are no spacers either side of wheel it has no wriggle room.... Ian
canada280i
It's only a slight pull back before you start to curve the wheel and calliper upwards. Yes the hose is tight, once you have done it you will know the technique. Putting it back on is the same in reverse, hose is also tight then but it just falls back into place. breagh
My disc guard had to be removed to get the wheel out, can't really mind what the problem was Binned it they're all useless anyway. Canada's spot on with his advice, very easy to remove/fit when you know the drill. Edited July 5, 2015 by breagh
canada280i
Thanks breagh for adding in about the disc guard, it has to be removed if you are not already doing so Edited July 5, 2015 by canada280i
