alscott1984 Posted July 12, 2015 Report Share Posted July 12, 2015 Hi, I attempted to reverse bleed my clutch as it was dragging slightly. But now it is as if the clutch does nothing. I put a tube with syringe on the bleed nipped and fed oil through until no bubbles came out at thee reservoir. The closed the nipped, the lever felt like no pressure to it until a few pumps, then I can hear something moving at the clutch but it's not disegaging the clutch at all? taffe Posted July 13, 2015 Report Share Posted July 13, 2015 Hi, there's plenty of posts to cover this, but what I did was position the master cylinder as high as I could and slowly pump the lever, more like giggling it, after a while small bubbles started to rise, I left it over night like this and did the same next morning and still got small bubbles. crazybond700 Posted July 13, 2015 Report Share Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) Probably just keep bleeding it, it will work most of the time, but needs a little bit more patience than one would like to invest, lol. You could remove the master cilinder and put it up higher such that the brake hose is a straight line and the reservoir is definitly the highest point. Will keep at it! Does anyone know what oil to use instead clutch/gear box? Cheers again. Noo, just let the slave sit where it is. Only make sure the hoses are not higher than the master cilinder. For the gearbox 5w30 is recommened, I personally dont have bad results with 10w40 which I always have available for other motorcycles.
