kinell
The standard Beta pegs don't last long with me using them to try and split rocks every weekend. I've also gone through 4 or 5 sets of Hebo pegs in the last couple of years. Has anybody tried any of these? http://www.raptorracing.biz/index.html

bikespace
Bloody hell - 100 quid - get two sets of the trialcast ones. Not titanium, but titanium is a sort of grey colour anyway - you don't like grey right? Go for gold, I've not wrecked mine yet and they've had some stick. perce
Having seen you ride K why bother putting footrests on your bike at all?

perce
More seriously though by putting stronger footrests on your bike would that then make the weak point the mounting brackets on the frame? What do they cost?
kinell
Sod it, I've ordered them anyway... I'm not sure about other bikes but on the Beta, the brackets slot in on either side of the frame and are held in place with 2 bolts. I bend these fairly regularly too I think the last pair I bought were about

kinell
Just had Pete from Raptor Racing deliver the footpegs by hand - he said he was passing anyway but I'm still impressed with the service? They are unbelievably light and very 'bling' Quality looks excellent with very neat welds. Let's see if they can pass the 'kinell test' this weekend Oh, he also said that they will be producing titanium hangers for the 06 Beta in the next couple of weeks... kinell
The verdict is they are 'kinell proof' The right peg got a few good whacks on Sunday and isn't even scratched. Very tough with no bracing means that packed mud can be flicked out easily. So far, so good...
