copemech
I know that Alan may be a bit heavier since getting off his diet but it think Dan is going to take care of that in preparation for the world round. At 180 lbs it seems like I cannot get the thing set as per recommended specs of 2"- 2.5" loaded sag without over preloading the spring. If I set the preload to achieve about 5-10mm sag unloaded with just the weight of the bike, I get about 3 or more inch loaded sag. I know that this effects the front end geometry increaseing the rake angle and hampers turning. Lane L. was recommending using the heavy spring on the Works Performance shock for riders 180lbs and up. I think that the same may apply for the stock shock. Alan, if you have that extra spring broken in already it may be just right for me. Let me know what you want for it! MC
