steve88
Hi I am completely new to trials and have just purchased a 2007 sherco 125 . Have been trawling the net trying to find an owners manual so I know what basic maintenance needs doing after riding as have no bike experience at all . Does anyone know where I might download a manual or alternatively give me any tips as to what basic maintenance is required after riding . Many thanks in anticipation Steve
p@ul250
About the nearest manual to your year is this one. http://www.sherco.com/tl_files/core/pdf/manuels/2009MaintenanceManual_ST2T.pdf Took me 30 seconds to find by doing a Google search for Sherco user manual.

steve88
Thanks Guys Had found the 2009 manual but wanted to check it still applied as 2 years is a lifetime these days for advances in things . Looking forward to getting out on the bike for a proper play off road this weekend :-) the wife is even hinting she wants a play Cheers for the advice
shercoben12
just keep the airfilter clean often and oiled, grease the chain alot and keep it tight, change gear oil every 12 hours of riding. simple job, drain oil screw is in crankcase directly under the gear lever, theres usually a little sticker pointing to it. before you drain it run the bike untill normal operating temp as this thins the oil therefore more will flow out. put 425ml back in. says 450ml but you can never get it all out and i had the same bike and year as you and found if you put 450 in you got bad clutch drag when even after leaving it an hour youd come back and it would be bad. just keep it all cleaned up and oiled on moving parts and it will serve you well.
