2stroke4stroke
Can anyone tell me the serial number for the needle roller bearings at the swingarm pivot? That'll let me get the bearings before stripping it down. Thanks.

whiskey
Hi Ring up your local bearing supplier, ask for; Swing arm bearings, HK2218 Roller Needle Cup Bearing If the spacer is worn you will have to buy these from Beta FYI, if you need swing arm bearings, i bet the bottom shock bearing is wore too Shock bearings BLRB366748 Spherical Bearing These are for my 2003 Rev 3, should be the same Happy to help Whiskey Edited July 23, 2015 by whiskey
2stroke4stroke
Thanks Whiskey, and yes I did the bottom bearing recently but had to just clash it together for a two day when cleaning them out revealed the play in the pivot bearings. Spacers seem a bit pricey at over £8 each but fortunately I know a man with a lathe.
steve_earle
A friend in the club got stung around 70 for swing arm bearings and spacers for a Evo 80! Seems like the usual needed parts like bearings and mudguards etc have a huge premium on the Beta's.
huski
If you mean the bushes that go in the swing arm bearings they are hardened.Machining them is easy, but the right steel and hardening process is important or they won't last
