uhoh7
Sry for the idiot post. Putting my 06 TXT 300 back together after a long down spell. I did take pics when I pulled the wires, but I guess I missed these. Txt pro 06 by unoh7, on Flickr Note one unattached wire coming from coil with round female receptacle, and one coming from CDI with rectangluar female receptacle (on left). I have pulled all my lights, so one or both may be superfluous, but before I try firing it up I want to check. Any advice apreciated. Here is the diagram, but I can't relate
crazybond700
This picture does not have a loose coil so you might need another diagram. My first guess would be is the killswitch wired?
crazybond700
I think blue/white should go to the cdi from the coil, And white goes to the killswitch to ground.

uhoh7
http://www.gasgas.com/Pages/Technical/Electrics/wiring-2002-pro.html TY so much for replies. That diagram is for an 02, but mine is 06, supposedly different. But maybe it's this one: Edited July 29, 2015 by uhoh7
uhoh7
I think blue/white should go to the cdi from the coil, And white goes to the killswitch to ground. Yes it says black/white, but I think it's the blue/white which goes to coil. My kill switch is already wired direct from CDI. That leaves one unattended wire leaving the coil. Shown on right in my original.
crazybond700
Well just try, YOu cant do much wrong. It wont start if wrongly wired (no spark). As long as the fan etc is connected propperly. I always figure it out on the go, just by looking and thinking what wires should do. And they are sometimes a pain in the *** to connect propperly and fit under the tank. Edited July 30, 2015 by crazybond700
