sy250
Hi all. I have now bought a 2005 250 pro. Unfortunate user name. I have used the bike about 15 times and the exhaust is starting to get worn by the tyre. Before it is to late is there anybody out there with any tips on this. Any help appreciated. telecat
Sounds like the pipe is bent in. Check from the rear that the pipe isn't too far in. If it is GENTLY pull it out.
jjwhite
ignore gently, just give a bash with your hand, then you need to get your bracket strengthend

nickerlias
if you take the spacer out that is in between the middle box&the top of the shocker then get another made about 4mm thicker then take the white plastic washer out that is between the back brake master cylinder and the middle box and put the bolt back through without it it will pull the silencer over enough so it doesnt catch on the tyre
redvanman
Common problem. Take bolt out at top of suspension unit and add a spacer. (Good thick washer will do the trick)Also add some sticky plastic to exhaust to stop tyre wearing through should it still catch a little.
