dadof2
Fajardo seems to have moved ahead of Dabill. What is the reason? Is Vertigo not as good as Beta? Is Dabill handicapped by developing new bike? Has Fajardo / Beta combination improved relative to others? Should EFI 2T now be beating carburated 2T? the addict
Could it just be the type of sections recently than anything else? from what I've seen recently there's a huge amount of jumping about and rock hopping than previously and much more risk of injury. steve_earle
Fajardo has not been on form the last couple of years. He rides big hazards very well as he has proved in the indoors of previous. I think Fajardo has just got his mojo back.
dan williams
Fajardo was getting up a few things in RI that only Bou and Raga were getting up. It was fairly obvious he has upped his game.
lineaway
Dabill was never the rider Fajardo was. Bike has nothing to do with this. I`m sure this is a shock for a fellow countryman.
faussy
I dont remember Dabill ever being ahead of Fajardo... Dont you mean why Casales is now ahead of Dabill??
breagh
Harsh words but WTC is not the be all and end all. Couple of wee trials over here Fajardo would get a riding lesson on if he ever entered not just by JD too. Anyway that Verigo's rubbish a half finished one barely won the SSDT with a pensioner on board, would have been a one two if JD hadn't lost his watch.

Is that a serious statement?! Why do people always think that it never rains in spain?
baldilocks
It doesn't need to rain in spain dry and dusty sometimes isnt as grippy as you think. Still recall going to an italian round to watch and being shocked at how slippy the rocks were. The spaniards still levelled the sections, the Brits bar Dougie, didn't. Cabestany however at the ssdt was miles away, had loads of dabs in relatively easy sections. Go figure
nigel dabster
If fajardo ever fancied 3 years learning ssdt, had some good tuition on what to do he'd be in with a good chance of winning.
breagh
Is that a serious statement?! Why do people always think that it never rains in spain? Never mentioned rain! Serious? Realistic maybe, look at Jorge in this years first two BTC rounds . Didn't really go to form.
faussy
Never mentioned rain! Serious? Realistic maybe, look at Jorge in this years first two BTC rounds . Didn't really go to form. But you implied he would not be able to cope with british conditions... If it isnt rain, can you explain to me what the difference between Spanish and British terrain is? Yes, and did you not look at his results at all the other rounds? And who mentioned Jorge?... the original poster was discussing Jeroni, who is a fair bit better than Jorge!! Saying the WTC isnt the be all and end all is one of the most naive things ive heard, have you watched the WTC? Have you seen the varied terrain? Did you watch czecho, did you watch sweden? And what makes you thing British trials are the be all and end all? Last time i watched trials, there were a lot of Spanish at the front. To say there are other riders than Dabill who would give Jeroni Fajardo a lesson in trials riding in britain is as silly as saying there are a lot of lesser riders in Spain who would give James Dabill a lesson on riding dry rocks. Thats the reason we have a WTC that visits different countries. Sure send Toni to my local practice ground with its ultra specific rocks and mud and ill give him a schooling on how to ride trials Edited August 14, 2015 by faussy

Likely positions this year have actually moved apart 2 places. year Dibs Jeroni 07 8 6 08 8 4 09 7 4 10 6 4 11 8 5 12 6 3 13 6 3 14 6 4 15 7
nigel dabster
think the ossa year with fi was 2011. His bike was very powerful, but unreliable. His form improved once back on the Beta.
