thesaint
Since the front wheel was a little "off" to one side i adjusted the forks by loosen the clamp triple top yoke and the clamp lower triple lower yoke and adjusted the front wheel. After doing this the front wheel is straight as it should be Should i torque the bolts and if so how much torque?
lineaway
While the front forks were loose, did you bounce it up and down? The pinch bolts can be just snugged up. Nothing worse than those being over tightened/stripped out.
aussiechris
Yes, I would torque the fork clamp pinch bolts. The spec I have is 8 ft/lbs for the top bolts and 10 ft/lbs for the lower ones. That is for my pro but should be the same if yours has 6mm threaded bolts. And you would also have loosened and re-tightened the fork brace (mudguard bracket). 6 to 7 ft/lbs for those. Chris.
