stilly36
Hi all. I was given this gas gas trials bike in a box. I have built it up and I am struggling to find bottom gasket & top. New piston rings. Also I am not sure what model or year. Frame mum is vtr/gg/1694/0794/0030. I have just sat and scratched the powder coating of the frame and found this. Any help great. Thanks
faussy
There are a few on here will be able to help you with the frame number, but a few pictures will probably be more beneficial just incase the engine and frame arent matched.
stilly36
Thanks Faussy. I'm not sure how to get photos on yet. I'm on an iPhone 5s. I will try. The engine has ggm01010000 that's what I make out any way.
craigh88
It's a 94 model, made in July '94. It's 160cc and was the 30th model of that bike built that year. http://www.trialspartsusa.com/diagrams/GASGAS%20CHASSIS%20NUMBER.doc Would assume it's a contact GT16. Google it and see if it looks the same Edited August 20, 2015 by craigh88
bilks
Try here for the model and yr http://www.gasgasmuseum.com/ Edited August 20, 2015 by bilks
lineaway
The `94 model had the gold triple clamps with the Paoili forks. Back then the 160`s were usually a year behind the big bikes as far as most parts. Very mellow little bike.
