craigrushton
Just done mine this saturday morning (fork seals and oil) for mot. Wish i'd of known your delemer I would of measured them ! If you are looking to get a size for the cir'clip and the forks are still on the bike, Just carefully remove the dust seal and push up the seal away from fork leg then get a vernier caliper and measure the internal diameter of the fork seal housing , this will give you the cir'clip size . As cir'clip sizes are given in housing diameter not size of circlip diameter when open !!!! (if you get my drift) So just measure the inside diameter of the fork leg tops and ask a bearing supplier to get you a cir'clip for this size. Job done. thats_a_five
The seal dimensions are 10.5mm x 33mm ID x 46mm OD. (edit: These are for TLR200 Reflex) Any good bearing / hydraulics supply house should be able to determine what circlip you need if you take themthis info. craigrushton
Hi Just measured my old 35mm fork seals ( TLR 200 E) (not reflex) taken out last Saturday...... The seal size of mine are....... 35x48x11 So to answer your question you need a 48mm internal cir'clip. Just ask for a 48mm cir'clip (should be 1.75 thick) unsprung dia will be about 50.5 o/d. Craig. joeninety
Cheers Guys. I was hoping someone would just say its Honda part number ......... or RS part number ....... etc.... but I can work it out. When I took the forks apart one circlip shattered on removal and the other bent so I just binned them as when I've done Paoli and Marzocci seals on modern machines the clip has come with the seals but not for the TLR Showa's.
