fivebrick
Gaerne Boots are popular and for good reason. Very comfortable. One thing is the soles do tend to get chewed up, at least mine did. I posted about the soles while back. I bought some Shoe Goo, and I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it fills in the deep ruts left by the pegs. I grabbed a tube of it and filled in the divots. Let it settle in for 48 hours before riding and it helps to have a plastic disposable knife or similar to smooth it out a bit before it hardens up. Lasted awhile and cheap. Just thought I'd pass it on. Edited October 21, 2015 by fivebrick
lineaway
I use shoe goo for everything. Seat repair, fender repair, non pressure case leaks, trim on jet ski`s and boots.
fivebrick
Cheers Line yep, stuff works. If I'm honest I am impressed by how well it seats in the sole ruts. Fills in good and takes the punishment of the pegs pretty well. Way longer lasting than I expected.
