nigel dabster Posted October 3, 2005 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 They were fitted new to my bike 3 trials later they had worrn through to the hard compound. Don't lik the bits you put in the ends they fall out. The soft compound is too soft lovely when new but dont last, ends seem to be fatter than ness there fore felt a bit like I had those daft bar end things. My reccomendation are the arriete (I think) very plain black grips last for ages and dont seem that hard available from MRS at a good price.Even have a wiring groove. telecat Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 If you can't "get on" with Hard grips then the domino's seem a good compromise. The Renthal soft grips tend to split and let in the muck and also move on the bars(yes I used the glue. These Domino's seem to be immune and the end hasn't fallen out yet. I've had mine on for over a year ridding every weekend and they've done the Scottish 6 days and they are no were near worn out let alone worn through to the hard bits.
