master68
I have a 15 Sherco ST 290. Bike is performing well. I am soliciting your opinion as a trials rider. Do you have a little slack in your throttle? Or no slack at all. Bike was set up with a little travel in the throttle. I know it's a personal preference but I want your opinion. fivebrick
I would go for as little slack as is reasonably possible.
lineaway
You have to check the throttle at all front wheel positions. Full lock left, full lock right, ect.
jml
Just to reiterate what was said above. The recommendation is that you have the minimum amount of slack possible but not so little that when the bikes handlebars are turned at full lock the idle rises. copemech
Some like even a bit more slack so they are less sensitive.
crazybond700
I always take the cap of the trottle and check if there is a small bend in the cable when turned to left and right. Not too much, but you want some free play.
jml
Out of curiosity, is this your first trials bike?
