madmostin
Dad has said I can give this a try if I promise to not get it dirty or crash in a big heap. That was 4 years ago and I still can't make that promise. But he's gonna let me ride it anyway. Boxing Day trial perhaps. Just need the right venue. charlie prescott
Hi Guy's. Hi MM. Take a look at the "Classic" page. Peak Classic trials next year. Ideal type, for straight line sections. And very interesting. Regards Charlie.
breagh
Mostin, out of curiosity could you pick that bike up if you dropped it in a section? It looks so heavy.
madmostin
It's not too heavy. An all alloy motor would be better but it's not as heavy as a 500t
gautrek
Here you go mate. pick a trial. But maybe not Earl Shilton as thats rocky. We have 4 girder bike running this year. hammertight
Hello there Mostin. The BMCA have the Midlands Air Ambulance trial scheduled for this Sunday at Easthope Wood, on Wenlock Edge. The Clubman sections will be plotted with consideration for rigids. Please have a look at the website - www.bmca.org.uk The machine will get pretty mucky and the going will surely be slippery... but car parking will be fine! You'd be very welcome and perhaps an ideal opportunity to "shakedown" the bike? And fairly local for you as well. There is also the option of riding in the Gentlemen's class - in through the Begins, then anywhere you like and out the Ends. Regards, Al Ussher
madmostin
Can't make this weekend but it looks the place to ride. Fitted with mt43's at the minute so need to try it. Just stripped and cleaned the mag and carb. Any other pics of rigids?
stan wellback
Don't like being a kill joy but, folding foot rests have been mandatory for about 50 years for good reason. a folding kickstart is a good idea too.

charlie prescott
Hi Guy's. Deryk, There looks like something funny going on with that Ariel? of Mr Biggs. Am I mistaken or has one of the twin port exhaust outlets been blanked off? Thing is you only see stuff like this if you subscribe to ORRe don't you. Regards Charlie. charlie prescott
Hi Guy's. Derek,Very interesting you see you learn a New thing everyday don't you. The Old ones are the best! You are so right about not many are "seriously involved" ? well on TC that is. The real problem Deryk is that not many of our generation are into using computers like you and I do, and I am sure that ORRe would have twice as many followers if more late sixties seventy year olds, were able to use a machine and to view the mag. and these pages. Perhaps we can start a campaign for Christmas, to get sons and daughters of "Old Trials Riders" from this period to take there I-Pads etc along to visits to there parents at this time and show them what they are missing. even pay for a subscription for ORRe as a pressie perhaps. Regards Charlie.
