How did the piston look, appart from obvious damage caused by the particle collition with the head, lol. dadof2 Posted November 28, 2015 Report Share Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) I have known the item that causes this type of damage to be bits of piston ring, rivets from the main bearing cages or pieces of big end cage. Edit - the barrel looks as if it will be OK, just needs a good clean up and check there is no more bits about to break off.
