bdmc
Been watching a few videos on facebook, you tube etc of the current batch of WTC contenders. I cannot understand why they are still practising to balance, hop and bop, move sideways, backwards and never use flags. Looks good but a lot of 5s if it was a trial. Have the rules changed for 2016 - no flags and ride section anyway they want?
lineaway
Right now they are getting ready for the indoor series.
crazybond700
Mostly indoor training yes. And I think we mostly get to see the show off part, they train many hours more!
michael_t
Yeah it is funny how the internet and just media in general can portray things much differently than they really are. Kind of like the tag line "There are but three events in a man's life: birth, life, and death. He is not conscious of being born, he dies in pain, and he forgets to live". The reality is many people remember their kids coming into this world as a joyous occasion, many people live their lives to the fullest and get to experience many wonders (especially trials riders) many people die in peace having had one hell of a good ride... I guess it just depends how you look at stuff .
baldilocks
I did spot riders learning to hop on the rear wheel in the early noughties. Please video makers stop, There is no need to demonstrate this skill to me every time you start your bike in front of a camera.
