stpauls
Looking for improved torque and/or power from my Sherco 125. I don't want to get a bigger bike/engine because I don't want to loose the agile handling. Anyone fitted Boyesen Power Reeds to their 125? What were the effects? Would you recommend installing them? What about a High or Very High S3 cylinder head insert? Any performance gain? Thanks
taffe
Hi, when first got my 07 125, it had so much go I retuned it a bit. It came with a 200 top end and a flat slide carby. I also fitted a TRP shock...magic. Cheers Taff
steve_earle
I can't vouch for the 125 but the carbon reeds do give more torque and quicker revs in the 300's. A high compression insert will give it more grunt off the bottom and make it it more snappy at low revs. I have a head insert for a 125 sherco, I think its a high or very high, I'll have to double check, I got it used as a complete head but only wanted the outer part, You can have it if you want it, It's just gathering dust on the shelf.
