nickadees
Hi all been riding bikes since I was about 11 now 27 now, had sportsbikes since the age of 18 so not done anything offroad for a very long time. I have always loved watching trials vids and it just looks like so much fun seriously considering getting one in the next year I think to be honest I have kind of lost the love of road riding a little. I went up to the motorcycle live show at the start of December and got my lad (4 years old) a little Kuberg start electric trials/motocross bike for Christmas after he had a go at the show and was incredible on it, so it would be great to be able to ride with him. In my teens I was into bmx and I seem to have a freakishly good sense of balance so I'm fully expecting to get on a bike and be hopping over 6 ft boulders straight away......ok so maybe I would just start with trying to ride standing up haha. Any nice friendly clubs local to me?

stpauls
Somerset clubs and nearby clubs that are likely to provide ridable sections for a true Novice rider are: Somerton and District Blackmore Vale Mendip Vale Cheltenham Home Guard Zona 1 Stroud Valley Southampton MCC Wilts Border MCC You could more or less guarantee that the Novice sections provided by the above clubs would be safe and ridable for a true Novice rider. Other clubs, such as Taunton, Kingswood and Yeo Vale provide Novice sections, but in my experience these may well prove to be too challenging or unsafe for the true Novice rider and might be best avoided initially - IMHO. nickadees
That's fantastic thanks for the advice i have just been looking and my son would according to the acu be able to take part if i could find a club that runs a section for youth class E think it was. a while off yet obviously but nice to know if he/ we wanted to do that we could. going to try and get to an event to spectate at some point aswell, I went along to one a few years ago and was really put off by the attitude of some of the riders that struck me as a bit snobby to be honest, I'm guessing it was just an unlucky couple of riders that i happened to bump into that day
