zacmul
Having a bit of trouble with with rev hang on my 2013 300. It started to hang revs a little, and it gradually became worse and worse until it was unrideable. So i parked it for over a year now while I rode my beta! I now need to fix this because i need to sell this bike. I've cleaned the carby over a dozen times and set float height. My inlet manifold was leaking so I replaced that. Reeds were a little bent so i flipped them around and now they look good. Did crank seals but still no change. Doesn't rev hang at 1/2 turn out on the air screw but runs quite rough. Jets are: main-125 Pilot- 45 Cheers.
tshock250
Is it running weak? Fuel pump? Seems to be one or two people having fuel pump issues.
zacmul
What do you mean running weak? do you mean lean? Do you know what goes on with the pumps?

copemech
Stick the Beta carb on it to see if it changes.
zacmul
Stick the Beta carb on it to see if it changes. I did try that before i fixed the manifold leak and was just about to try it again, but i decided to chuck dad's TY tank on her to bypass the fuel pump and it seemed to run a lot better. Do you know what could be wrong with my pump? Thanks
copemech
It is possible you are running low on fuel as the hanging revs will happen. If fuel tank is full, they should pretty mush gravity flow, even without a pump. The pumps are simple and only require engine vacume pulses to operate. There is a screen on the petcock that may be blocked. OR the vent line to the tank may be clogged with dirt. There is a one way ck valve in that line that needs to be clean and functional as well, or the tank will fall into a vacume with the pump trying to suck out fuel! Loostening the filler bung while the thing is running poorly may instantly relieve that condition. All worth a look.
