guys
Hi everybody. I'm coming over to your quaint little island next weekend. I'll be booking a hotel somewhere in Hampshire. I'll be visiting Sammy Millers Museum among other things. And might go to the Oxford Ixion MCC Trial. Does anybody have any other tips for me? Places to visit, things to see? ducman
Hi Guys, if you going to the south a visit in Brooklands(close to the A3) is very interesting and also a little 3 wheeler museum in Rolverton(Kent).Southhampton Harbour with all the antique dockyards and ships is also worth a visit. There is a lot to see,in this area. guys
Thanks for the tips guys. Brooklands was already in the back of my head, and one of the harbours also, Portsmouth seems also very interesting. But it's nice to get some confirmation. Thanks. Been already to the Beaulieu Motor Museum in 2000, but might be worth a visit again.

jon v8
Great tip. Thanks. I've got to be in Salisbury to pick up my petrol tank No problem, every time I go there the whole thing amazes me,especially when you consider how and when it was built. We are spoilt for cool stuff here in the UK, not very good at promoting in in some cases...
pro sport
Hi Guy Leave yourself a long time to spend at Sammy's museum if you have not been there before, if your lucky you might get to meet the great man and see around his workshop. Beaulieu had not changed much between the years that I visited it, but Brooklands is a good varied visit with planes, cars and a few bikes! Oxford Ixion trials were always enjoyable when I used to ride them. What ever you decide to do I hope you have an enjoyable visit. Cheers Dave
