caddy4u
Heard everyone raving about these linkage kits, but as a bit of a noob, I was just wondering if someone could please tell me exactly where they fit and the pros and cons of them? TIA
guys
Pro's I noticed very well: Makes the rear more responsive when jumping on larger obstacles. I didn't hit the bash plate so much on big pipes and such. And it slightly steepens the steering head angle, making sharp turns, becomes a bit easier. As Oni Nou says, you'll have to buy and try it. They're not that expensive.

jonnyc21
The con would be that as it brings the back of the bike up a small amount and makes the steering faster it can cause it to tuck a little. You can help mitigate this a bit by lowering your fork tubes in the triple clamps. And if you work on good body position it will likely be little noticed.
guys
Or lower the spring "pre load" on the rear shock a bit. Gives a bit more traction, without losing too much of the benefit of the linkage kit.

They're not that expensive. They are a good improvement. The con, is that they put you over the handlebars on the big drops that you can normally roll off! Soon get used to what the limit is and just needs a blip off them instead. Probably the best value improvement there is for a 4rt.
